With a combined 20 years of Art Director, Production and Set Design experience, I have worked with TV networks- scripted and unscripted, film, digital, commercial and branded projects as well as working directly with studios for various productions. I worked as the Set Designer for various television pilots and series across a variety of networks-including Travel Channel, MTV, TLC, Bravo, WB, Food Network, and Animal Planet.

 

   I thrive in high energy-fast paced work environments, leading crews and delegating tasks whether it be with an art department team or independent contractors. My wide range of experience includes interior design, on-air DIY’s, set dressing, creating props, and shopping for materials and decor.

 

Recently I was the Art director for an HGTV design-renovation series pilot “Rachael Ray’s Rebuild”. I worked with the on-air designer to renovate and design homes that were destroyed by tragedies. I dressed and styled the home to feature her branded line throughout the living room, dining areas and kitchen. Each episode Rachael would host a dinner for the families after the reveal. 

 

   As Art Director for Travel Channel's Hotel Impossible,  I collaborated directly with the on-air Designer through all stages re-designing hotel bedrooms, lobbys, kitchen and dining areas. My roles included; overseeing construction crews, designing interiors, decorating, creating DIYs, shopping, and adhering to a tight timeline and budget. Similar makeover series also include "Beachfront/Lakefront Bargain Hunt Renovation" and "Backyard Envy".  

 

  In addition to TV, I was the set decorator and food stylist for a digital pilot for Food Network titled, "Cooking with Kids." I had also worked on the independent film, "Sleeping with the Fishes", starring Gina Rodriguez and Anna Ortiz as well as creating"period appropriate" props and decor for the series, "Carrie Diaries", on the WB Network.
